Worst President in US History
Normalizing corruption,
harshness, and disorder...
Donald Trump
isn't just a flawed president. He stands, in this view, as the most damaging
occupant of that office in the modern era, without any real rival for that
distinction.
He has transformed the presidency into a stage for personal drama, made loyalty
to him a political litmus test, and turned the country's divisions into a tool
of governance rather than a problem to solve.
Under him, facts bend to whatever serves his interests. Institutions earn his
respect only when they fall in line. Allies become expendable, critics become
adversaries, and constitutional boundaries become obstacles to route around.

This Is Not Normal
A president's job, in principle, is to bring the nation together, uphold the
Constitution, safeguard the public, and hand off a stronger democracy than the
one he inherited.
By this account, Trump has done the reverse — normalizing corruption, harshness,
disorder, and the belief that holding power outweighs any guiding principle.
History, in this framing, won't measure him by crowd sizes, rally rhetoric, or
the loyalty of his base. It will measure the wreckage he leaves.
And when that reckoning arrives, he may not be remembered as the leader who
restored American greatness, but as the one who put the country's democratic
resilience to its harshest test.

international allies and friends who have lost respect
and admiration for the once powerful and honorable
United States.
As an American
citizen who has always been proud of his country, I must
admit I am suffering a moral dilemma about the current
state of things here in the US. Like James Baldwin and
Martin Luther King Jr, I have always loved my country, I
have always had high expectations of my country, and I
have always felt comfortable criticizing my country when
it has not lived up to its reputation.
But, even
at its lowest points, I have never been ashamed or my
country. I have never been embarrassed to be an
American.

Under
Donald Trump, however, I am genuinely ashamed of the
United States. Never before have I seen my country fall
so appallingly short of its integrity. Mostly, I am
embarrassed of the way in which Trump has acted on our
behalf. And I grieve the loss of respect from
other countries who now see us as corrupt, dishonest,
belligerent, and immoral. It is upsetting to watch
as our president berates, disrespects, and insults our
global partners, countries who once held the US in high
regard, countries who once were our friends.
I would
like to apologize to those decent, honorable countries
around the world who have had to endure the undeserved
rude and hateful rhetoric from Trump. We do not approve
of such vile remarks and demeaning treatment. It is
extremely disturbing for us to see you bullied by Trump
and we disavow any and all such actions. You should know

Please

Blind Devotion
What is most disturbing is not that Donald Trump is so observably diabolical,
it's the fact that his deluded fans do not seem to care. It is profoundly
disappointing to realize that millions of our fellow Americans identify with
this president and regard him as their hero and savior. As such, we are sharing
our nation with citizens who support a fascist dictator, an authoritarian
madman, a lawless leader. They are engaged in the mindless worship of a tyrant
king.
They affirm
and promote his dishonesty, corruption, ignorance, hypocrisy, violence, and
incompetence. They are okay with his greed, narcissism, and reckless abuse of
his political position for personal gain. They applaud his immorality and
depravity and ignore his bigotry, racism, sexism, misogyny, adultery, sexual
misconduct, rape, and pedophilia.
They are well-represented by a hateful, soulless, malicious, vindictive,
warmongering, gaslighting white supremacist moron who disregards the
Constitution and the rule of law and harbors profound contempt and disdain for
the American people.

They say they promote

Any movement in our nation that seeks to grant justice, equality, and inclusion

It happens all the time. The ring wing factions in our society oppose

This is the Enemy
We are at war
in this country. And it is not a political battle. It is a moral battle. It is
not blue vs red or left vs right. It is right vs wrong. Good vs evil.
On the good side of this conflict
are Americans who want to preserve the democracy, rescue the Constitution, and

On the wrong side of this conflict
are... Trump
Supporters... MAGA
Fanatics...
Neo Nazis... White Supremacists... Oath Keepers...
Fascists... Ku Klux Klan...
Christian Nationalists... Proud Boys...
Likewise, we
could add sexual predators, misogynists, rapists, pedophiles, liars, cheaters,
bullies, and murderers to list.
The enemy is
the would-be dictator in the White House and his supporters. The tyrant king who
rules by decree. The despotic madman who attacks the press, tramples human
rights, obstructs justice, abuses power, breaks laws, and murders innocent
people in the streets. These acts are not agenda items we disagree with. They
are immoral, bad, and evil.
And make no mistake, we don't just disagree with them, we consider them wrong.
We don't have a difference of opinion, we regard them as evil. We don't share an
alternate point of view, we see them as entirely objectionable and completely
indefensible. They are the enemy.
Their agenda is not valid, not legitimate, not justifiable. No accommodation. No
compromise. No concession. No tolerance. No common ground. No "agree to
disagree." It is not a matter of left vs right. It is a matter of right vs
wrong.
The enemy must be defeated.
He must be impeached. He must be removed from office.

His stupidity is staggering. His incompetence is devastating. His lying is

laughable. His crimes against women and children and disgusting.... And your

He has lied to the American people, violated the rule of law, abused the power
of his position, obstructed justice, trampled citizens' rights, and ignored the
US Constitution. He has, on several occasions, colluded with foreign agents,
committed treason, and incited insurrection within his own country.
He has expressed disdain for the average American, especially the working poor,
middle class, and minority communities and actively sought to further oppress
and disenfranchise them. He has deliberately wrecked our economy, degraded our
government structure, and removed support and protection of the average
American, while heaping rewards, tax breaks, and subsidies on the wealthy.

He has defended greed, corruption, immorality, violence, and criminal activity.

Brutally Honest Critique of Trump
From
Republican Steve
Schmidt
Republican Steve
Schmidt, who ran John McCain's 2008 campaign for
president, was interviewed on MSNBC. In response to a
very general question regarding the Trump Presidency,
Mr. Schmidt spoke for two solid minutes and gave the
most insightful and brutally honest response of what the
Trump Presidency has done to our great country...
“Donald Trump has been the worst president this country
has ever had. And, I don't say that hyperbolically. He
is. But he is a consequential president. And, he has
brought this country in three short years to a place of
weakness that is simply unimaginable if you were
pondering where we are today from the day where Barack
Obama left office. And, there were a lot of us on that
day who were deeply skeptical and very worried about
what a Trump presidency would be. But this is a moment
of unparalleled national humiliation, of weakness.

"When you listen to the President, these are the musings
of an imbecile. An idiot. And I don't use those words to
name call. I use them because they are the precise words
of the English language to describe his behavior. His
comportment. His actions. We've never seen a level of
incompetence, a level of ineptitude so staggering on a
daily basis by anybody in the history of the country
who’s ever been charged with substantial
responsibilities.”
"It's just astonishing that this man is president of the
United States. The man, the con man from New York City.
Many bankruptcies, failed businesses, a reality show,
that branded him as something that he never was. A
successful businessman. Well, he's the President of the
United States now, and the man who said he would make
the country great again. And he's brought death,
suffering, and economic collapse on truly an epic scale.
"And, let's be clear. This isn't happening in every
country around the world. This place. Our place. Our
home. Our country. The United States. We are the
epicenter. We are the place where you're the most likely
to die from this disease. We're the ones with the most
shattered economy. And we are, because of the fool that
sits in the Oval Office behind the Resolute Desk."

So sorry, Mr. Trump, that's not going to happen. No way in hell.

You incited insurrection, you pardoned dangerous criminals, you covered up

Squelching free

Whether he is
berating members of the press for reporting the facts or ridiculing a celebrity
for expressing their opinion about the administration's atrocities, it is clear
President Trump is uncomfortable with negative feedback.
His thin skin and fragile
ego can't handle negative press, critical editorials, or even jokes. And
he lashes out in an attempt to restrict free speech.
Trump recently became enraged by
the comments of late night television host Jimmy Kimmel. He responded by
demanding that Kimmel be fired for the jokes he told at Trump's expense. It has
become typical that when he is confronted by remarks that he does not like,
Trump seeks the dismissal, removal, termination, or punishment of the speaker
who dared to exercise their right to free speech.
Anyone who
understands the requirements of leadership know that Trump's demands are
inappropriate, cowardly, infantile, undignified, unprofessional, and
embarrassing. Anyone who understand the Bill of Rights knows that Trump's
demands are also un-democratic and un-Constitutional.
It appears Trump may need to be reminded that he really is not a dictator and we
really do not live in an authoritarian state. and US citizens have the
right to free expression, especially with regard to our government leaders.

all Americans.
It would be nice to have two equally viable political parties in the US. It
would be the best of all possible worlds to have two legitimate parties with
differing, but healthy, points of view. America deserves to have two sides of
every debate, two opposing opinions, two different approaches.
But, alas, that situation no longer exists. The republican party no longer
represents a viable alternate perspective. They are no longer an equally
legitimate option. They have lost their credibility, their integrity, their
honor.

democracy possible, but man’s inclination to injustice
makes democracy necessary.”

Jon Stewart: Trump's Hissy Fit
The republican party has no legitimate agenda that is supported by the
Constitution. It is the party of lies and corruption. It supports fascism,
treason, and lawlessness. It promotes inequality, injustice, and bigotry. It
tolerates abuse of power, conflicts of interest, unfair practices, and executive
privilege. It denounces diversity, equity, and inclusion and sides with white
supremacists, foreign dictators, and nazis. It dismisses science and research
and favors disinformation over facts. It worships its despotic leader at the
expense of their own sense of sanity, civility, morality, and rational thinking.
Worst of all, the republican party no longer cares about or even tries to serve
the average American citizen. They no longer support the working class, the
working poor, and the majority of Americans who are not wealthy. They overtly
express disdain, animosity, and contempt for the average citizen. They are not
focused on making Americans' lives better, but instead they are intent on
removing benefits, protections, and rights. They continue to pass laws that
oppress American citizens.
Do you remember the last time the republican party ever did anything to relieve
the struggle of working class Americans? Do you ever remember a time when the
republican party did anything to improve the quality of life of the working
class? Do you recall republicans ever doing anything to benefit anyone other
than the wealthy?

Republicans Enable
Trump
They are ignoring his bad
behavior...
The GOP controls Congress. The GOP is afraid of Trump and wants to stay in
power. To that end, the GOP defends Trump's inappropriate, illegal, and
dangerous actions. They make excuses for him, lie for him, and refuse to
question his behavior. They literally let him get away with murder.

People who are truly powerful bring others together."

"Real
men don’t lie and cheat their way through life. They don’t enrich themselves by
stealing from other people. They don’t sell their soul to the highest bidder.
Real men serve others, weak men serve themselves."
-James Talarico
"Real men aren't petty, shallow,
and vindictive. Real men don't lie, complain, and blame. Real men aren't greedy and
self-centered. Real men don't brag and exaggerate. Real men are secure in
themselves and do not need to constantly compensate for their low self-esteem
and fragile ego. They are compassionate and fair. They take
responsibility, speak truthfully, and focus on encouraging others."
